GEMS Education, founded as Global Education Management Systems (GEMS), is an international education company - a global network of award-winning, kindergarten-to-grade-12 schools in the Middle East, Europe, the US & Asia. It is the largest operator globally, with a network
of over 250 schools in over a dozen countries focusing on technological innovation to revolutionize the education sector. GEMS wanted to provide a unified school management solution to its students, teachers, parents, and key stakeholders. The challenge with a school management system was process centricity. They had multiple systems, a lack of parental involvement, customization, real-time reports, and digitization that had to be achieved in one application.
